The aim of the Seminar was take stock of the ongoing process of security sector reform in Indonesia, started 10 years ago in the post-New Order era. Over 130 participants attended the Symposium, which included senior military, police and intelligence personnel, parliamentarians, academics, NGOs, media, International Organisations and embassy staff. Indonesian stakeholders presented papers on key reform issues as a basis for further discussions about the status and needs of security governance, and to address progress made and future priorities for SSR programming. Over the coming months these papers will be analysed further in order to identify gaps and priorities to address the ongoing SSR needs in Indonesia..
